Kids4Tech™ Launches AI Curriculum for Grades 3–7 With White House Support

President Donald J. Trump’s administration is continuing to expand its nationwide AI education initiative as Mastercard announces a major commitment to bringing artificial intelligence learning to students across the United States. As detailed on the official White House website, Mastercard’s Kids4Tech™ program, already the world’s largest STEM program for students aged 8–16, is now being enhanced with a focus on AI education.

AI NEWS – This free, online curriculum is designed for grades 3–7 and provides teachers and students with interactive modules, video content, and downloadable activities to explore foundational AI concepts and real-world applications. Over the next five years, Mastercard plans to reach one million students nationwide, equipping the next generation with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in an AI-powered world.

The new AI-focused programming will include a mini-research project that encourages students to investigate how AI can address social and environmental challenges, an interactive game in which students become “AI Superheroes” solving real-world problems, and a drag-and-drop simulation that allows them to apply AI concepts to practical community issues. By combining engaging learning tools with hands-on experiences, the initiative aims to make AI accessible and exciting for young learners while providing educators with ready-to-use classroom resources.

Mastercard’s commitment complements the Trump Administration’s broader strategy to strengthen AI literacy across K–12 education, ensuring that students are prepared not only to understand AI but to innovate with it responsibly and creatively. With public-private collaboration at the core of this effort, the White House is creating a national ecosystem where students, teachers, and communities are empowered to lead in the age of artificial intelligence.
