Trump’s administration is further strengthening its national AI education initiative as Microsoft announces a comprehensive set of commitments to equip every K–12 student and teacher in the United States with access to cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools and training. According to the official White House website, Microsoft will provide all K–12 students free access for the academic year to its AI CoPilot, built on Microsoft technology and OpenAI’s most advanced AI models.

In addition to AI CoPilot access, Microsoft will provide LinkedIn Learning licenses offering structured online courses that guide learners from foundational AI concepts to advanced skills. Students and teachers can earn certifications that can be added to LinkedIn profiles, demonstrating their competencies and enhancing job and career opportunities. Microsoft is also expanding support for current jobseekers, launching 15 new LinkedIn Learning AI courses and hosting a week-long AI Learning Challenge to build practical, in-demand skills.
Furthermore, through a new partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges, the company will offer no-cost AI certifications to faculty serving over 10 million students, ensuring that educators themselves are fully prepared to guide the next generation.
