President Donald J. Trump’s administration continues to strengthen its nationwide AI and cybersecurity education initiative as Palo Alto Networks announces a significant expansion of its Cybersecurity Academy. According to the official White House website, the program, which offers free NIST-aligned coursework on the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, will now reach a broader cohort of middle schools and high schools.
AI NEWS –To date, the Cybersecurity Academy has served over one million students online and across 3,300 partner institutions, primarily at the two-year college and university level, and this expansion ensures younger students gain early exposure to critical skills that are essential in the modern economy.
The expanded curriculum will enable students to identify and examine how artificial intelligence is applied in cybersecurity, explain how AI and machine learning collect, integrate, and normalize enterprise security data, and explore how AI automates security operations.
By providing practical, hands-on experience, Palo Alto Networks equips America’s youth with the knowledge and competencies needed to thrive in the growing cybersecurity and AI sectors. This initiative aligns with the Trump Administration’s strategy to leverage public-private partnerships to maintain U.S. leadership in technological innovation while ensuring that students are prepared to meet the demands of an AI-driven workforce. By expanding access to AI and cybersecurity education, Palo Alto Networks is helping cultivate the next generation of leaders ready to secure and innovate in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
