Booz Allen Commits to Educating Over 1 Million AI Learners and Expanding Workforce Opportunities

Booz Allen Hamilton is making a bold commitment to AI education and workforce development, pledging to reach over 1 million AI learners across the U.S. within the next five years. The company is taking a multi-faceted approach, combining curriculum development, professional development for educators, and hands-on learning opportunities for students to foster the next generation of AI professionals.

AI NEWS – Central to this initiative is the development and dissemination of AI curriculum aligned with K–12 and Career and Technical Education (CTE) standards. Booz Allen ensures that these resources are accessible nationwide, giving educators the tools to teach AI concepts effectively in classrooms and extracurricular programs.

To further support teachers, Booz Allen will host dozens of professional development opportunities in partnership with nonprofits across key U.S. regions. The firm is also a foundational philanthropic supporter of the AI Education Project, contributing to the goal of reaching 30,000 educators by 2028.

Students will benefit directly from more than sixty employee-led AI literacy workshops, both virtual and in-person, as well as ten annual AI career discussions designed to inspire learners about opportunities in the AI field. Additionally, Booz Allen plans to hire over 150 AI-registered apprenticeships over the next four years, providing practical, hands-on career pathways.

The company also aims to convene stakeholders in the AI education ecosystem twice a year, promoting collaboration, sharing best practices, and scaling impactful models for both in-school and out-of-school learning. Through these comprehensive efforts, Booz Allen is helping build a future-ready workforce equipped with the skills, knowledge, and experience to thrive in an AI-driven economy.
